Spool and strings

  • Mood: Insulted...
  • Music:Randomized Belly- Full Moon, Empty Heart
  • Reading: Crossing California- Adam Langer
  • Quote Of The Day: "I'm looking in on the good life i might be doomed never to find. Without a trust or flaming fields am i too dumb to refine? And if you'd 'a took to me like Well i'd a danced like the queen of the eyesores And the rest of our lives would 'a fared well."(Shins-Newslang---Gardenstate soundtrack)

I spun you on a spindle and on the spool out come your dreams. A deep purple drenched in gold, no one dare rob me of you. Except you. You did and strung me on a wooden insturment, and strummed out a tune and drove me insane...a pity I never loved you more.

You wrote me a melody, inspired by my broke heart. I drew you a picture, show the world of your strange beautiful nature...it only broke my heart more. It broke the melody, it came out of tune and demolished the strings. They became dust, and we faded away. The picture stayed. With your dreams it stayed. To accompany my broke heart.

Yeah i know what it's like to feel bad and except a compliment. I mean generally a good writer is their toughest critic. I Love my simile and metaphor but i really just felt that it was better to write it out in a more plain fashion. I like to get people to do a little thinking, and i realized that this time i didn't have to do it with fancy words or literay devices, the subject would suffice. Heh, nothing wrong with being a nerd, it's perfect natural. I'm a nerd, computer nerd, literary nerd, and probably a few other types of nerd. There's a much cooler way to say "Writing Nerd" it's "literati" which spawned the word for what i am which is "digerati". Ohh man I love this english language stuff.
